Who to call in the case of an environmental emergency in the District and City of North Vancouver

Is the emergency a violation of fish, wildlife, or environmental protection laws, including illegal fishing and habitat damage?

If yes:

Contact the BC Government:
Report All Poachers and Polluters (RAPP)

Record the DFO file number and send a copy of your report to our region’s DFO Community Advisor – Gillian Steele (Gillian.Steele@dfo-mpo.gc.ca).

Does the emergency involve hazardous or toxic spills, discharges, emissions, dike and dam failures, debris flows and floods?

Is the emergency in the City of North Vancouver (cnv.org)?
