Quote from CarolynneR on May 2, 2022, 11:08 amWe're working with CNV on restoring Wagg Creek Park's riparian area, starting with where the creek daylights at 22nd St/Chesterfield down to the 22nd Street footbridge, accessed by Mahon Ave. Invasives: Ivy, blackberry, lamia.
This week I'm working there 12:30PM -2:30PM as long as it's not pouring rain. Join me if you can. Please bring your own tools (clipper and shovel and/or trowel).

Quote from CarolynneR on August 10, 2022, 7:44 amThis coming Sunday August 14th from 10AM am to 1pm we will be working with the City of North Van to remove some invasive blackberry bushes at Wagg Creek Park north of 21st St. This area has been identified as high value by the City as the creek has room to carve there if we can get rid of the invasives. The City is providing the tools and there is quite a lot to do so the more people the better. Tell your friends! Even if you can just come for an hour the help would be appreciated. Please contact forcarolynne@shaw.ca if you are coming with size of your party to ensure enough tools. Come to Wagg Creek Park and join the fun!
